Social Media Ninja

Planet.108 is a Solarpunk Art + Tech Ecosystem based near Auroville — consisting of a community-building slow media app (108.App), a YouTube film series (Era in Mothertown), a Substack, and pop-ups — all centred around a Community Design Philosophy called YING.

We are seeking a proactive & outgoing Social Media Ninja (preferably a woman) to head marketing for us — with a minimum commitment of 6 months — building together with us toward a big launch called 108.Roast on 19 September 2026.

What you'll do

• Design thumbnails + descriptions for our weekly YouTube videos
• Package 2–3 reels/week for Instagram (edits come from our Video Monk)
• Create 1–2 original Instagram posts/week from Era's Substack writing + BTS
• Schedule + upload everything
• Engage warmly with comments + DMs on YouTube & Instagram
• Distribute each YouTube + Substack release to community groups
• (Later) help hold a WhatsApp / Telegram community

What you bring

• Graphic design (Canva)
• Writing funny yet wise captions / copy
• Organise — social media calendar, and folders on Google Drive
• Comfortable with Instagram, scheduling tools, and analytics
• (PS: you need to have your own laptop)

• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy — you're the first voice people meet
• A social person. Hands-on, presentable, warm, out-there in the best way
• Genuinely loves social media and community-building
• Here to grow with us, not just to clock in
• Open to improvising — this is a new kind of project
• A real drive to learn our tone and voice (warm, considerate, poetic)

How we work

• 3 hours/day, Mon–Fri, 1:30–4:30 pm
• At the Planet.108 Art Studio near Auroville — AC, big shared table, fruit and drinks provided, a small studio family of 3–4 working together (PS: we sing & dance during breaks)
• ₹12,000/month, with a hike to ₹15,000 after 3 months based on performance
• A one-month paid trial to see if you're a good fit for the team
• 6-month contract (May–October), with a one-month break in November
